Church of St Croce
Located in the main square of the village, the church of Santa Croce is of monastic origin, and among the oldest. A document in 1170 testifies to the donation of land on which was to be built by the Benedictines of the Monastery of St. Bartholomew Camporeggiano, derived from the other oldest monastery of Fonte Avellana, where he lived and died by Sant'Albertino Montone Prior camaldonite Fonte Avellana , invoked as a protector for the cure of the hernia. The Bishop in his first pastoral visit Muzi mentions a work of art contained here was "The Last Supper" by the Flemish Calvaert Dionysius, now visible in the Collegiate.
