Our Lady of Grace Church

Madonna Delle Grazie

Along the road leading to the parish church of St. Gregory, is the Church of Our Lady of Grace. In this place since ancient times worshiped the image of the Virgin was placed in a shrine invoked as "Gratiarum fons." The title of the church was in honor of the fact that in 1578 some people got the graces. In particular, it recalls the story of a man believed to be hit by bad luck threw an object against the image of the Madonna hit newsstands, the face began to bleed and the man, he was shocked, asked forgiveness and vowed to go around begging to build a church in repair of the act committed symbol. In 1579 the church was given to the Brotherhood of the Holy Sacrament which is still proprietary.
